Flejet provides an AI-powered social media management and automation platform designed to assist professionals, creators, and businesses in scheduling posts, drafting content, and engaging on social platforms such as X (formerly Twitter) and LinkedIn.

This Privacy Policy explains how our web application, backend services, and browser extension collect, use, process, and disclose information about you when you access or use Flejet.

2. Google User Data Policy & Limited Use Disclosure

Flejet allows users to sign in and register using their Google account via Google OAuth / Firebase Authentication. We strictly limit our access, usage, and storage of Google user data to providing and improving our core application services.

A. Google User Data Accessed

When you sign in with Google, we request access only to your basic Google profile information:

Email address: Used to uniquely identify your Flejet account and send essential service communications.
Full name: Used to personalize your Flejet workspace and dashboard interface.
Profile photo URL: Displayed in your Flejet user avatar and workspace menu.

We do not request or access your Google Drive files, Gmail messages, contacts, Google Calendar, or other sensitive Google scopes.

B. How We Use Google User Data

We use your Google user data exclusively for the following functionality:

Authenticating your identity and creating your Flejet workspace account.
Displaying your identity within your profile settings and team workspace selector.
Delivering important transactional notifications (such as billing updates, security alerts, and system notices).

We do NOT use Google user data for advertising, marketing profiling, selling to data brokers, or credit assessment.

C. Google User Data Sharing & Transfer

We strictly respect your privacy. Flejet does NOT share, sell, rent, or transfer Google user data to any third parties, with the sole exception of our secure cloud infrastructure providers (Google Cloud / Firebase Authentication) acting as data processors strictly to host and authenticate your account.

We do not transfer Google user data to third-party AI models or external data vendors without your explicit affirmative action.

D. Google API Limited Use Requirements Compliance

Flejet's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

3. Other Information We Collect

Depending on how you interact with Flejet, we may collect the following additional information:

Connected Social Accounts: When you connect your Twitter (X) or LinkedIn accounts, we securely store authorization tokens provided via OAuth so you can schedule posts, manage queues, and publish content. We never store your social account passwords.
Post & Campaign Content: We store drafts, scheduled tweets, queues, custom AI prompts, and media that you upload or compose for publishing.
Browser Extension Context (Optional): When using the Flejet browser extension, it only reads the specific post or text content you actively select to generate a comment or reply. We do not track your general browsing history or background tab activity.
Billing Information: Payments are processed securely via our merchant of record payment gateway (Dodo Payments). We do not store raw credit card numbers on our servers.

4. Third-Party Services & AI Providers

To deliver our AI and automation features, we partner with reputable, privacy-conscious service providers:

Google Cloud Platform & Firebase: Provides user authentication, database storage, and secure hosting infrastructure.
Google Gemini API: When you request AI draft generation or comment suggestions, the prompt text you submit is processed transiently by the AI API to generate a response. Your private Google account details are never passed to the AI models.
Social Media APIs (X / Twitter API, LinkedIn API): Used solely to execute the publishing and interaction actions you explicitly configure.

5. Data Protection and Security Mechanisms

We implement industry-standard technical and organizational security measures to protect your sensitive data:

Encryption in Transit: All data transmitted between your browser, our servers, and third-party APIs is encrypted using TLS 1.3 / HTTPS.
Encryption at Rest: Stored account credentials, tokens, and database entries are encrypted using industry-standard AES-256 encryption.
Access Control: Backend access is strictly restricted to authenticated and authorized microservices using least-privilege principles.

6. Data Retention and Deletion

We retain your personal data and Google user data only for as long as your Flejet account remains active:

Account Deletion: You have the right to request permanent deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us at satyam@flejet.in.
Purge Timeline: Upon receiving an account deletion request, all personal identifiers, social tokens, scheduled posts, and workspace records are permanently purged from our primary database within 30 days.
Revoking Google Access: You can disconnect Flejet's access to your Google account at any moment through the Google Security Permissions Page.

7. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights under applicable privacy laws (such as GDPR, CCPA, or DPDP), including:

The right to access the personal data we hold about you.
The right to correct or update inaccurate personal information.
The right to request the deletion or erasure of your personal data.
The right to withdraw your consent to data processing at any time.

8. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect operational, legal, or regulatory requirements. If we make material changes, particularly regarding how we access or use Google user data, we will notify registered users via email or through an in-app notification prior to the change taking effect.
